During the conference Macroecology 2019 (11.-14.03.2019) in Würzburg Anne Lewerentz and Juliano Sarmento Cabral presented a poster on the distribution of functional types of aquatic plants in Bavarian lakes. Young Modellers in Ecology
At the annual meeting of the Young Modellers in Ecology (20.-24.05.2019) near Göttingen, Anne Lewerentz gave a presentation on different approaches to the modelling of aquatic plants. (Lecture title: “Modelling freshwater macrophytes: Overview of existing approaches and a concept to assess diversity response to environmental change”)

The second BLIZ internal meeting took place on May 6th 2019 at the University of Würzburg. Temporary results were presented and actively discussed. Furthermore, Alice Claßen presented her Junior Research Group “ADAPT – Adaptation of Alpine Pollinators in Times of Global Change”.
