Due to covid there was a long delay, but finally the BLIZ PhD student retreat took place at the Limnological Research Station in Iffeldorf from April 25. to April 27. Jana Blechschmidt, Maximilian Brönner, Stefan Fallert and Sven Rubanschi have used the past three days to write and discuss a lot. During hikes around the Osterseen they were exchanging ideas about the next BLIZ paper. In the evenings they were cooking and playing cards. As for now, they are planning to have a follow-up retreat after the next BLIZ workshop end of June.
